our house policies were created with everyone in mind. They’re basically to protect (us and you!) and promote a better service experience—whether you’re getting a tooth gem or a new look with one of our hair stylists.

in the event that you may be sick or have been exposed to someone who is sick we encourage you to reschedule your appointment and stay home!

during this unprecedented time, all rescheduling fees will be waived. last minute cancellations due to covid are encouraged to reach out to the neon door or your respective artist immediately.

Your request will be scheduled based on Artist availability. Your request IS NOT APPROVED until you receive confirmation from The Neon Door.

A credit card is required to make a reservation and it will be kept on file for future reservations and any fees that may be incurred.

online booking

One guest is the absolute maximum we can offer in our main room due to the proximity of service stations.
services completed in our private rooms will only allow space for the client receiving the service.

Our space is not conducive for children, and we ask that they do not accompany you to your appointment. The ONLY exception to this policy is for children receiving hair services.

We have a 15 minute late policy.

If clients are more than 15 minutes late without a phone call to let our front desk know, they will be marked as a no show and we may have to reschedule all or part of their services.

We kindly ask clients to call and let us know when they’re running late so that we can best accommodate them.

late policy

We understand that unplanned issues can come up and clients may need to cancel an appointment.

If that happens, we respectfully ask that you provide 48 hours notice for any service that requires two or more hours to complete to give our artists time to plan accordingly.

Cancellation of any service that requires less than two hours to complete is dealt with at The Neon Door’s discretion. 

cancellation policy

Every client is allotted a one time grace period in which the cancellation fee will be waived for a last minute cancellation.

The following services will incur a cancellation fee due to the 2+ hours of time that is scheduled for the service: A full highlight, color, or color correction, all permanent makeup services, scalp micropigmentation, scar and stretch mark camouflage, hand poked tattoos, eyelash extensions, and facial services requiring 2+ hours of time.

Moving forward, a cancellation fee of up to 95% may be charged. 

late cancellation policy

All deposits are non refundable but transferable to another appointment date if cancellation notice is given in the required amount of time.

If cancellation notice is not given, the deposit will be forfeited. If the client wishes to reschedule the appointment, an additional, new deposit will be required.

If a client does not show up to their appointment without calling more than 2 times, our artists reserve the right to refuse service for any future bookings.

no-show policy

All services are non-refundable but any corrective service is at the discretion of The Neon Door. The service must be a mistake from the service provider and not something the client might have changed their mind about after the service has been performed.

It is at each individual artist’s discretion if they would like to give a “redo”. You have 48 hours to contact the Studio if you are dissatisfied with their service. Corrective services will not be allowed 48 hours past initial service date.

It is important to contact the studio as soon as possible if you feel that a corrective service is needed.  

We are happy to return any retail purchased products within 7 days of original purchase. No cash value is given however an in Studio credit will be issued.

Many of our services are considered multiple-step processes. Healed and finished results will vary with each individual client. NO guarantees will be made. Additional sessions (at an additional charge) may be required to obtain optimal desired results.

Although we give our best efforts to provide you with quality service, many factors can result in a less than desired outcome as each client is different. Please follow any Pre & Post Care Instructions given by your artist.

Due to the nature of many of our services and the sanitary precautions that they require, pets are not permitted in our space under any circumstance.

Smoking of any kind (including, but not limited to, cigarettes, marijuana, pipes, cigars, or vape pens) is not permitted in our space to ensure that every guest is experiencing a clean and pleasant atmosphere.

Do you take walk-ins?

Downtown parking is metered from 8am to 5pm Monday through Friday. 

Free parking can generally be found at Tucson High and on 3rd Avenue between 8th & 9th St. 

We do not provide tooth gem removal as it is considered a dental procedure and must be completed by a hygenist per AZ law.
